Carolina Tiger Rescue is a nonprofit out of Pittsboro, North Carolina committed to creating a better world of big cats and wild animals.

Their primary function is rescuing big cats and other wild animals from captivity, and rehabilitating and housing them on their property. They have rescued animals from all over the country and outside of the US, including tigers from multiple properties featured on “Tiger King” on Netflix.

While CTR is one of the most important and established wild cat rescues, their current website does not reflect the professionalism and prestige of their organization.

Providing clarity and accessibility across devices was extremely important for this project, so I adapted the website into a mobile version to be accessed on phones.

As Carolina Tiger Rescue begins to look to younger individuals for donation support, it is important that they can access that audience through social media - the mobile version provides an easy link for all of their different platforms.

The process began with creating a mood board and an audience persona, in order to center the vibe and audience.

I then sketched low quality wireframes, before building out high quality wireframes in Figma.

The final website was designed in Figma for desktop and mobile, and the logo lockup and icon were designed in Adobe Illustrator.
