I hand illustrated the women and their breast imagery in Procreate, and used Adobe Illustrator to edit the image, backgrounds, and add the text.
The main three images are formatted for Instagram posts, with each illustration serving as the cover, and the pink “Link in Bio” image serving as the second slide in the carousel.
I reformatted the illustrations to also be used in Instagram story format.
This project, formed in collaboration with the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s mission and resources, uses humor to tackle the issues of breast checks and mammograms. The use of common slang for breasts provides witty imagery, and also makes the illustrations safe to post on social media.
